About us

We are The Bistodeau Family Band. We live in Princeton Minnesota. And our band is comprised of Bob and Deb and our daughters, Deena who is 19 and Sedra who is 14. We play Bluegrass and Texas Swing type of music. Sedra has been playing fiddle for 11 years. She also plays classical music as well and so does our other daughter Deena who has been playing fiddle for 13 years. Both girls are Minnesota state Champions, and Wisconsin state Champions. Sedra is a 2-time jr-jr 2006 and 2007 national fiddle champion for the age group 9-12. And is currently 3rd in the nation for a new age group which is 13-17. Sedra also won the "Gone to Texas" division in Hallettsville, TX in 2008. She was 13 when she won that and was the first female and the youngest person to ever win that. She has won numerous classical competitions as well. Deena is 4 time Wisconsin state champion as well as a 4 time Minnesota state champion. And she is currently 6th in the nation for fiddling.
